Content & Safety Policy

Effective October 17, 2026

Nook is an adults-only AI companion. Every reply is generated by AI, and every request and reply passes through safety rules we enforce on our servers. Players cannot turn these rules off. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.

1. Our characters

• All characters are fictional and AI-generated. None depicts or is based on a real, identifiable person.
• All characters are adults, at least 21 years old, in appearance, description and behavior.
• Each character's look comes from a single reviewed reference that our team approves before release.

2. Never allowed

Nook will not create, and you may not request, content that:

• involves anyone under 18, or anyone who appears, is described or role-plays as under 18;
• depicts non-consensual sexual activity, sexual violence, incest, bestiality or exploitation;
• depicts or imitates a real person, including celebrities and private individuals, or is a "deepfake";
• depicts extreme violence, self-harm encouragement, or illegal drugs in a sexual context;
• promotes hate, harassment, terrorism, or any illegal activity;
• involves trafficking, prostitution or arranging real-world meetings or payments.

3. How we enforce it

• Before generation: requests are screened by automated filters and keyword rules. Requests that break this policy are blocked or rewritten so the forbidden part is removed.
• During generation: image and video instructions are written by our servers, never by players. What you say shapes the conversation but cannot directly instruct the video model.
• Accounts: attempts to get around these rules lead to warnings, suspension or permanent closure. Child sexual abuse material is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement.
• Generated content is private to the account that requested it. Nook has no public sharing or feeds.

4. Reporting and complaints

If you see a reply that breaks this policy, or you believe content on Nook depicts you or someone you know, email [email protected] with the subject "Content report". Please include your account email, the character, and roughly when it happened.

• We acknowledge every report within 1 business day.
• We review and resolve reports within 7 business days, removing content and taking account action where needed.
• Reports about minors or real people are handled first, and content is taken down while we investigate.

5. Appeals

If your account was suspended and you believe it was a mistake, reply to the suspension email or write to [email protected]. A person, not an automated system, reviews every appeal.
