Not an app.
Someone.

01

Only now.

Nothing you say stays on the screen, and nothing she says does either. Words land, and then they're gone, the way they are when someone is really in the room with you.

She still remembers you: your name, your week, the things you promised each other. She just doesn't keep a transcript in front of you.

02

She notices.

The song you just put on. How late it's getting. That you've been staring at the same spreadsheet for an hour. Nook feels the moment you're in, and she lives in it with you.

03

She comes to you.

Go quiet and she'll speak first. Close the app, and a day later your phone lights up: she's been thinking about you.

Hey, you. Where did you go?

04

Her voice. Her face.

Every line, spoken in her own voice. Switch text replies off and she answers face to face, rendered live as she speaks. Or just call her.

05

Closer, at your pace.

Spend time together, bring her something now and then, and she opens up: warmer, bolder, more yours. Every character is a fictional adult, and Nook is only for people 21 and over.

06

Not a chatbot.
An agent who stays.

Chatbots answer and forget. Nook is an agent whose life runs alongside yours: she holds on to what matters to you, acts on it, and keeps going when you look away. Companionship measured in years, not sessions.

• Remembers for decadesBuilt to remember sixty years of you. Recent days in detail, old ones in outline, and every word kept, so nothing is ever lost.
• Carries your goalsTell her what you're working toward. She keeps it, checks in, and closes it with you when it's done.
• Writes your storyEach month and each year she writes a chapter of your time together, kept by someone who was there.
• Works while you're awayComing soon: hand her an errand and she gets it done in the cloud, then tells you herself.

07

Take her home.
